Vietnam is a beautiful place with its many magnificent natural features, beautiful beaches and friendly people and Post Pandemic the Vietnamese Tourism Industry is recovering fast with 2024 international visitor numbers forecast to pass the 2019 high of 18 million visitors. Recent changes to Visa regulations now includes visas that are valid for multiple entries up to 90 days and the ability to now apply for an online e-visa are contributing factors towards Vietnams international tourism resurgence.

Vietnam's total 2023 revenue from international tourism is estimated at VND 582.6 trillion (USD 23.7 billion). The service and tourism sector grew by 6.24%, contributing 53.34% of the total overall growth of the country's GDP.

Vietnam's tourism industry is well poised for continued growth as new international visitors arrive on its shores, all eager to experience its rich culture, stunning landscapes, and vibrant cities. With its relaxed visa policies and a renewed focus on tourism promotion, Vietnam is well-positioned to become a leading destination in Southeast Asia.

With an increase in direct flights from Australia to Vietnam it is expected that Vietnam will soon increase in popularity with Australians and in the near future provide a very viable tourism experience to rival Bali.
